It kinda seems like a personal preference thing to me. The spot will give you a more direct light whether it be pointed at the road, trails, etc. The Flood will cover a broader area in width of the beam and height of the beam. The combo kinda gives you a little of both worlds. Also, the thing about the curved(radius) bars is that they spread the beam out in width a little more than straight bars do. So its kind of up to you. If you search around on here you can find where people have posted examples of each. Hope I helped some and if anyone can provide some more info feel free to chime in!

I find myself wondering why your 20" curved has a lower output than the straight? As for those wondering what pattern to get I have to recommend spot almost always unless you have a specific use for the flood. The optics on LEDs are such that they have some flood characteristics even in the spot pattern. Anything from the grille lower I would recommend only spot or you will find the road flooded too close in front of you.

To be honest, I'm not sure why its lower. But from what I've seen it seems as though all of Cree's 20" Curved bars are 6w less than the 20" straight bars.

I don't know that I could, but if I make it up there could I come by and look at them? And does the price get any better if I pick one up? Thanks...

I would prefer to ship them because it's actually cheaper for me to do it that way. Shipping usually takes about 7 business days.

Let me ask this question. How is it any cheaper if someone comes to you to get the light bar directly than having it shipped to their house? Either way it has to be shipped.

I'm not trying to shit on your thread by any means but there are a ton of people that have been screwed over on light bar purchases in the last year or so.

Just some people want to see an actual product on an actual truck. Not one that was "borrowed" from the internet mistakenly or not.

Well here's why, I buy these lights straight from the company. Usually I just get them to ship the item straight to whoever wants to buy it. I've been selling them for quite some time now and I've had the company send them to me so people can come look at them. On more than one occasion I've had people leave me hanging saying "they can't make it after all" or they come and try to talk me down on price and I literally can't sell them for less so they think im trying to make a dollar off of them and they leave me hanging. So then here I am left with a $350 light bar that I really can't afford to be sitting around my house.

So out of all the time you've been selling them no one has sent you an install pic? It just seems from your first post "I've got some cree led light bars to sell." Which gives the perspective buyer the idea that you are in possession of light bars and can show the product first hand.

Now should you have posted " I am retailer of "said" cree led light bars," then it would have been more precise and clear.
Like my for sale thread sales I have a 33 in totron led light bar for sale. Meaning I am in possession of said light bar and a perspective buyer can see it first hand.

I'm not trying to bust your balls and I know you probably feel like I am. But I have first hand handed my money to someone for a light bar and months go by and nothing. Several other people have as well. So I and them tend to be more on the defensive side when someone with no gained credibility ( meaning no one on here knows you and you have 11 posts in with 10 are about selling light bars) joins a site to promote a light bar from an unknown supplier and an unknown person.

If you can post a pic of your particular light bars that you are selling then by all means let see and help you make some money.

Man, I'm just here to help people out.. I understand you've be been ripped off before, but that's not me. I have a conscience, and if I were to rip somebody off like that I would feel like the worst person ever. And if somebody's light bar were to not come in I wouldn't hesitate to give them their money back. And if the wording of my listing confused you or anybody else I'm sorry and that wasn't my intention. I really didn't think that deep into it. As far as credibility goes, I just bought my Taco in August and I'm not really a talkative guy in the first place so I just don't get on and post a lot. I read a ton of stuff on here, but that's about it. I didn't join this site with the intentions of selling light bars, but I saw a way that I could help people and I tried. If I would've known somebody was gonna bust my balls this much for putting up a listing I just wouldn't have done it. And why is it surprising nobody's sent me an install pic? If I sell somebody a pen on eBay(where I do most of my selling) I don't expect them to send me a picture of them writing with it. I expect to hear good feedback from them when they leave feedback but that's all. Anyways, I'm pretty sure you've completely ruined this thread.

I'm looking at your 50" curved. Could you send me a pic of the end when the power cord comes out of the light. I need to see if it is compatible with my mounts
