Yes if you get a better non OEM set. I went with the Iron Man lift and haven't looked back since. Not only did I have the axel wrap but I also had the tendency to have the rear end want to come around under heavy braking/emergency braking on the highway. Both issues were fixed with the Iron Man install

Pretty neat piece. I do wish it was a little brighter as it tends to wash out in the super bright sunlight, but it is a neat unit as far as the way it turns on and off based on battery voltage.

    Will do.

The way the unit is designed it will automatically turn off once my parking lights are on, but I can snap a picture with just the lights out. They're quite bright at night. I imagine they'd be decently bright on an overcast day as well.

In hindsight, maybe I should have put the trigger on the headlights instead of the parking lights so that I could use them along with the parking lights, but I think I like them as-is. I also would prefer not the rip apart the wiring again.

I will certainly keep this in mind if my clean up doesn't turn out decent.

I checked on my truck at 8 am and it was a little bit damp but not seeping water if you pressed on the seat. I have the damprid sitting in its little jar/bucket on the floor soaking up any moisture in the air. It has been in there for most of the day and there is no smell in the truck currently. The seat is completely dry and there is a bit of residual water on the floor mat(rubber) that I just dabbed up with napkins. So things are going well with clean up.

In other news it seems I have picked up a rock and it is trapped somewhere that causes a pretty ugly grinding/screeching noise when I'm driving. It seems to be louder while in reverse. I went through a rather large puddle today so I think a rock might have been deposited somewhere. No idea where it could be lol.

Didnt want it turned off completely. With this I can click it in when I need it, take it out when I dont.

He's only ~30lbs, so the airbag turns off automatically. Not sure if thats a good thing or a bad thing.

If it's beeping, that means the airbag is active though, correct? Or else it wouldn't beep because it thinks no one is in the passenger seat?
