    :quickdraw:

Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you view it), springs and shocks are wear items and mine are... Especially the front. Damn weight. So its definitely not as nice as it was when you guys drove it.

I was mostly messing with Monte. :) But I am curious about your front. Stock A-arms so relatively limited amount of travel. But you have COs right? Icons?

It sounds like you have the rear dialed in a bit for the higher speed dirt stuff. Are you as happy with the rear on the street or on the slower (read: tippy) trail situations?

I'm feeling the weight thing now too.

He has king co and king 12" shocks with hydros out back. The rear is definitely planted

Street is a bit of a lumber wagon ride when not loaded with gear but its great going slow too on the rocky trails. And I meant lots going on in the thread not just your comment

Yep stock arms and kings non extended coilovers with 700lb coils and about zero preload which is part of the key in keeping the good ride. Good having roughly even up and down travel.

    No worries man. :p

I am considering replacing my COs. I'm thinking 700# coils is the way to go. I wish I could get them with Foxes but I've been told by DSM that Fox wont build them that way so I would have to buy 2 sets of coils to swap them out if I went with Foxes.

I might just go with King extended ones. Then I could finally call it MT.

A little birdie told me what you got over the weekend  Sweet man!

Had a kick ass weekend. Just all around awesome. Truck performed great, got a few more scrapes and dents in my skids/sliders and MT/R's are fantastic traction wise on the stuff around here, they just always hook and grab, but they are showing their age... not sure how i feel about the traction vs wear yet.

    All of them.

~7000 miles. I'll probably get about 25k out of them i'm guessing. I commute 50 miles a day so they see lots of highway :anonymous:

haha, your milage may vary... we will see. The trails around here are very hard on tires... 25k is on the low end of my estimate.

It's an MT tire what do you expect. They aren't known for getting a lot of miles. He will be doing about normal getting 25K. I know I'm not getting 25K out of my KM2's and they are supposed to be the longest lasting MT's on the market.

My KM1s I ran for 60k and they still had a lot of life left when I sold them, my 255 km2s had probably 60% left at 40k miles, just sold some 285 km2s with about 20k on them with about 60% left. :notsure:

Idaho is hard on tires. Lots of sharp lava rock. Although Moab was hard on my tires as well but I think that had to do with the fact that I wheeled for 9 straight days.

I have about 20k on my KM2's now and they are down to the legal tread in spots.

It really depends on how you drive them... Not trying to make it a competition on who wheels harder here but if you run them on big crystal rock like granite or lava flows they will wear fast, if they see lots of dirt/mud then they're gonna last longer. Also, Brady you're on narrow tires, sooo less contact patch will see more wear with the same weight...

and FWIW I have the MTRs in 285s and mine have almost 25,000 on them. Still got some life left in em and hoping to get 35,000 out of em. Outstanding tire all around and I will buy them again for sure...next time in 305s :D
