I guess I've got to start this very soon....

Can you point me in the right direction for the bilsteins and aal? Maybe a tire that suits my stock 17s while not rubbing?

You are absolutely correct. No trimming needed to fit those. Plus they are a tall 33 in tire.

I am going with the Maxxis Bighorn 255/85/16 when I get back from my trip to Texas. They are around 175 a piece from a local shop. I believe 155 a piece online but you have to pay for shipping which makes them more expensive than getting them locally for me.

Either off road company. Down south motorsports or toyoteclifts. As for tire someone else should jump in. I have an OME lift with All Pro leaf pack and plan to install new tires. I have my stock 245/70/16 and plan to go to 265/70/16

I suggest going to downsouth Motorsport website and their 5100 and 5125 with aal. They seem to have the best price and service is great. As for the tire you will get lots of opinion but I'm using my truck 75% highway and 25% off roading so I'm getting general grabber at2 on 265 70 17. Best price with install and alignment by me is Mavis.

What he said above. DSM has had the best prices from what I've seen.

I got my 5100 from headstrong offroad on a sale they had, but I'm not sure what they're price is now. Worth checking out. They were great to deal with. DSM is very good also, like all are saying

I just cut out ~200' of 12 gauge wire I ran in the truck for the lighting and other accessories. Decided to ground as close to the accessories as possible. In doing so, prepared for the RFRM install. Got rid of the interference with the radio and lights on too!.

    3 inch toytec lift
Found a pool of oil under my truck at work and when I crawled under the skids were coated in oil. Popped the truck up on a lift and there was play in the CV axle on the drivers side and there was oil clearly leaking out of the diff housing where the CV axle goes in.

I'm hoping that it's just a seal and not the entire bearing that went bad... I jacked the front of the truck up and spun the wheel a bit and there was no grinding and it spun freely so... Anyways It's sitting at the shop until Tuesday night now...

Since I pulled the skids off I repainted them. Gave them a good wash, sanded them down with 120 grit, sanded up rusted scratches and dents by hand and then used thinner to clean the surface. The paint is a textured rubber spray.

I globbed it on way too thick for that section but it was the first section I did so the others looked a lot more uniform.

Seeing how that oil made the water bead like crazy off the skids when I washed it I think I'm going to wipe my frame down lightly after I repaint it this year too...

Built yesterday. Still need to put the finishing touching on it later.
May post some pictures and explanations once I am done with it.
