Bought one brand new in 2004, double cab short bed 4x4, cummins. Sold it cause the fat baby mama couldn't climb into the truck no more.

I wouldn't jump the gun that fast. Motor still turbs, just doesn't turn over. Seems like a small problem. Just tedious work trying to find out what the problem is

 

Bookmarked for when my engine dies. Hopefully not any time soon, but when it does i am doing diesel swap.

of course the cost would be less if you did the labor yourself. but you still spend a lot swapping engines and transmissions and every component tied to them. Ten years ago I blew over 20 grand building a 87 El Camino and i did half the labor myself.

 

This is going to be my next project.

Your truck was running great yesterday, something shorted somewhere. It would be really nice if it blew a fuse or relay so that tracing the problem is easier.
