 Seems like you have been kicking ass in prep for the Rausch trip! I am pissed I can't make this one but I definitely will be there for the next one.

Nice. How much does it weight?

On a separate note, I retorqued my u-bolts after the Dakar install and driving for about 500 miles. I found one nut that was loose but everything else was good to go.

I'll check the bill of lading in a bit for you.

I checked my u-bolts and found a loose one as well. I'll be rechecking today, too. :)

I put a Yakima on my D-cab, I'm not sure if it'll work in the X-cab. I like my set up so far and it easily comes off if I want. Mine was all roof though.

I was anxious to see what these lights looked like on my truck. I found this newer type of LED that mount flat and shine from the side. The owner some how got samsung to use their LEDs on his strip. I tried to make my own pattern, not sure if I like it. They're bright as heck though. Not bad for a $20 set

Got 361.7 miles on a tank. Filled up with 14.732 gallons.

Granted my 31" tires are really worn down so that number is inflated a bit, but still... I think that's the most miles I've gotten on a single tank of gas.

I've never made it past 210 miles on 15 + gallons (I'm on 31's also..) :frusty:

24.6mpg is incredible. I'm consistently getting around 21.5mpg. I get slightly better if its straight highway driving but for the most part it doesn't matter if its highway, street or trail miles.

Most of this tank was driving 55 mph in 5th gear. Some hills but for the most part pretty flat.

What's this MPG thing you speak of. I don't know about it and I don't care. When the tank gets to 1/4 or so I top it off.

    Bone stock. For now.
I just ordered me a Redline Strut kit. Now I'm trying to decide on an Anti-Dark underhood lighting kit, or to build my own with a couple 8" underwater LED's...

Well yeah... you built a trail rig.

Mine is a DD and does everything from fetching groceries, picking up/dropping off the kid at school/camp, drive me to the mountains all year round and do some wheeling.

I have to always be finding that balance. :notsure:
