    :rolleyes: they have better things than best buy does... And its easy to install a HU when you get the pig tail with it...

    Yup^ Jeff and I installed his old HU into my truck with almost no issues... :anonymous: faceplate doesn't sit right but thats cause of all the wires behind the dam thing...


    It could just be the speakers honestly... I would do a whole over haul on the audio if youre gonna get a new HU... Pioneers HUs are good and fit nice in the dash....

    For speakers I would go with JL or Alpine... And youll most likely want an amp to run the speakers so get whatever amp suits how many speakers you want... Don't need a sub or processor unless you want them but I am waiting for a JL8 processor and a full overhaul of my audio

    Pioneer is garbage. do not buy pioneer.

    kenwood makes good headunits.



    I've blown a pioneer sub and amp, and my old pioneer head unit sucked ass.

    I still have the AVIC-920bt - zero issues with that or the 4 pioneer speakers I replaced the stockers with. :notsure:

    Sounds like you juiced it a little too much! Kenwoods stuff is alright... JBL is good too along with the old Alpines and the clarion I have from Jeff is actually a good one!

    My father had that exact one before his truck & trailer were stolen in New Orleans last year... He now has the newer model and its even nicer

    I have a competition single din Alpine waiting for install... The bells and whistles on it are very confusing but the sound coming out of the speakers of even the shittiest quality sounds amazing!

    But if you are replacing the speakers in the truck don't replace the ones in the roof... Just un plug them... Speakers above your head in a car have almost zero function at all!
