    When I got my tires put on, they called me to let me know my headlights didn't work. It was because I flipped my breaker. I was pissed they even did that shit. I was like wtf does headlights have to do with tires!? Come to find out a couple of months later, the broke the rocker to my compressor switch as well.:eek: Probably trying to get it to turn on. This is why I try my best to never leave my truck places to get shit done. I want to be watching them like a hawk.

    Not worth it IMHO. Just wire the locker switches up to only work if your compressor is on. That is how mine is. Then just pull the compressor fuse.:cool:

    I have an aux tank, 5 gallons of air at 200psi. Even with my compressor off I have air :p

    So, my .02 on the switch wiring.
    Don't over complicate it... the more switches and relays you add in, the more failure points you have... Think safety, but also simplicity.

    For a winch, personally I find it necessary to wiring in a secondary cutout switch... If you have 4 switches controlling only lighting, is it really necessary to add yet another switch to kill power to them ? If the answer is yes, so be it, just consider the possibly of troubleshooting electrical gremlins on the trail is all I'm saying. ;)

    Completely understand that, I've had the pleasure of fixing 12 switches, for 8 air valves on a truck with air ride suspension on the side of an interstate before. (Truck stuck on the frame, layed out...) Drive shaft ate the entire harness :eek:

    I'm just going to use the locker power switch inline with the power feed going to the locker switches. Gonna mount it on the left side in one of the factory blanks, and then the locker switches will be here. Light switches are getting moved to the center console where Lemons put his in cab winch controls. I already have my cab pre-wired with a multiconductor harness. Makes life easier adding new stuff :D

    Gotcha... ;) ... yeah vehicle electrical problems suck monkey butt, especially when you through in a relay bank probably like what you were dealing with.

    I spend enough time troubleshooting electrical issues for the Navy's submarine fleet, hate doing it at home

    But if I did that, then if I turned on one light it would energize the rest of them, right?

    I still want to be able to control then all individually. Then hit the all on switch off road.
