I wouldn't consider what TRS did shady. They are still a reactively small business and need to make a profit. So what if they offered a different forum a better deal. TW still got a discount right? And since the xB fogs are made for multiple Toyota vehicles, HIDplanet will probably net TRS more business so they can discount a little more because they expected to see more orders from that forum.

This is perfectly acceptable, but to call a business shady because they offer a better discount to a group that is likely to provide more business isn't IMHO.

I normally don't advocate on a company's behalf like this, but all of my dealings with TRS have been excellent. I just made my second order and the package arrived at my folks place less than a week later. Their customer service is by far the best in the automotive industry. I have even bought a part from Andrew who was kind enough to take some time out of his Saturday to deliver the part to my parents house because I am in South Korea right now.

That's the end of my soapbox, but Andrew I have a question...

I'll be on leave for the next open house and I plan on being there with my Taco, and I was just curious if you guys would be interested in doing/showing a live retrofit during the open house? I can do all the work to kind of demonstrate how east the Morimoto Mini III is to install. My parents have a double oven in their kitchen and I don't think my headlight will fit in it, that's why I ask haha.

Yeah, I re-read what I wrote and see how it was confusing. I was saying the other guy was wrong, and that you made a very good point and stated it in a matter-of-fact way.

I can vouch for these fogs as well, great product. Easy Install

 

Got mine installed a couple of days ago, but I just aligned them when I did my retrofit so I got to use them. They are amazing! I love the wide beam pattern with the projector style lens.
