I wonder if Toyota will ever come back to F1 like Honda

 

I think the F1 folks have the 'syngery' pretty tight too, at least at Mercedes. I heard Hamilton talking about his Canadian GP experience. He said he doesn't have any idea where the power is coming from - gas or electric. He pushes the pedal and the car goes. When he lost electric in the race it just seemed to him as though he was down on power.

 

Yeah, I don't know about that, yes he was getting along at a pretty good clip, however the transition back onto the track, esp. across the grass area should not have a dip in it right at the track edge. These cars do not have a lot of ground clearance and I think his right rear suspension broke due to the dip/ trench (as described by the commentators). If they want to actually prevent this type of accident, then they may have to determine, 'safe' areas to reenter the track and this is the only place you can reenter, which will just ruin the racing, because now does 4 wheels off mean that you can only enter in these dedicated lanes?
I like his comment about taking to long to repair the crash barrier. Back in Nikki's day, crash barriers, when and if they had them, was hay bales, tyres and armco...

I think Lauda is being a bit disingenuous by blasting Raikkonen for keeping his foot in it and trying to rejoin at speed , all the other drivers would have done the same , including Lauda in his day

I think that deal was done prior to the season starting

 

I'd like to see Toyota follow suit with Honda, they are doing well in the WEC. I think they have what it takes to make it in F1.

 

I guess it cant really hurt Mclaren. Will be interesting to see if they drop Button at the season's end as well.

Looks fine to me , but I wonder how stiff it rides seeing how most of a current F1 car's suspension travel is in the tires themselves
