My muffler decided to crap out on me the other day, so I've been looking for a new catback exhaust for my truck. I don't want to spend 500ish on a new magnaflow because the truck has 154k miles on it (but it looks new).

My truck is a 2001 Tacoma SR5 regular cab. When I'm looking for info they always ask about S-Runners and Pre-Runners. I don't really know what to look for other than it's 4wd and it has the 2.4L 4cyl engine.

Are there any differences between the regular cab and extended cab versions?

Does anyone have any ideas on what I should pick up that won't cost me a fortune?

It won't fit your truck and I wouldn't even consider using it unless you were willing to do some cutting, welding, and fabbing to make it work.

    But you're welcome to it

Use the search button (top blue bar). There's already lots of discussions about exhaust upgrades/replacements.

Or if you're looking for a stock replacement, search on ebay, craigslist, and your local junkyards.

I meant when they start talking about Pre- and S- runners

does a quad cab/ext cab exaust fit a regular cab?

I know about cars and anything Honda, but I'm not familiar with trucks.
