There isn't much room for a hammer. Remove the rubber fender liners, and bend the sheet metal with some channel locks. It's pretty easy. Reinstall the bolts from the back side.

There is something satisfying about smashing a perfectly good truck with a hammer.. Maybe that is just me though.. With that being said a pair of vice grips clamped onto the sheet metal may be a little more precise than smashing it with a hammer haha.

I think I have decided.. Tires, Texas, Brake lines and rear Shocks

I just have to sell a gun or something first :goingcrazy:

Good to see my enthusiastic sarcasm concerning harming my beloved Tacoma did not go unnoticed. It seems the alteration to the sheet metal is not that bad after all. So I can live with it. I could get satisfaction out of smashing a Nissan perhaps but not the taco.

The passenger side is worse than the drivers side. I pretty much just got pissed off and cut the sheet metal. Then painted it. No biggie

That's what I did. Also the driver side was a little harder because the 3 lines that go along the inner Fender towards the firewall on the back side of the uca. I ended up putting them back in the way they came out. Over all with me stopping and helping my wife with my new born it took me 2hrs without air tools. And I did it by myself:D

I see a lot of great looking tacomas in the Greenville area we probably have 10 or more TW members within 50 miles.

Sadly, I haven't taken any yet. I'm in the process of replacing the rear main seal and oil pan gasket (for the 3rd time) on a 79 CJ7 w/ AMC 360 which I'm hoping to have done before the weekend. I'll try to take some then.
