Yeah was going to buy one off here but after looking at what it took to do one figured it was cheaper to do my own, well the light I ordered off Amazon got a roll of super white for 13.00 a roll and the switch got off ebay, a set of 5 was like 5.00 the wiring I used was 18 gauge had some of thAt already, bought an inline fuse from lowes for 2.15 and the wire sleeve is like 2.50 for a roll of 10 ft at lowes also so basically for about 23.00 bucks with plenty supplies left over

 

What a deal! Going to put them in the bed next?

Now got to add that to my list! The list is getting longer everyday I spend on here

 

That's the truth, I've been a member on here since 2008 and been through 3 trucks while on here and with each one there's always been a list of things to do lol

I'm off till Thursday night and seriously thinking about taking the badges off. I guess I could put them back on if I really don't like it. I am going to start getting supplies for the headlight mod next..... if I get a good report form you.

 

do you have any pics of the ktm on the trail

 

Yeah I personally like them both ways I left mine off for a while but then decided to just black them out and reapply I will def let u know on the headlights either way good or bad if I'm all smiles you are good to go if I end up in tears lol well maybe not so much lol

We will see we will see ..not really got to work till Thursday this week then off for one night then back on for 5 straight befor I'm off again I'm looking forward to the end of August taking 2 weeks off and heading to st Augustine Florida for vacation

Ouch! And I thought my shift was bad. Never been there but did spend a week in Daytona last year was great to get far away from everything. Think we maybe going to the Outer Banks next month going to see how the taco does in the sand!

 

That sounds like fun, I've been to the outer banks once a few years ago and loved it. I'm a big history buff so love going to historical places and visiting all the sites

 

Ever been to Beaufort, NC? There is an old grave yard that has graves from the old ships that came from Europe. There is even a grave of a little girl that was put into a barrel of rum to preserve her because the father didn't want to bury her at sea.

 

No never been there but that sounds very interesting, I love the old grave yards and stuff of that nature, love hearing the ghost stories and folk lore of towns.

 

If you like history I think you would like that area. Lot of history starting with the Revolutionary War at Ft.Macon and a lot of Blackbeard stuff.

Yeah a ton. I generally prefer the wider stuff such as the quad trails. Double track/4x4 roads are fun too on the bike. If I had a 350 KTM dirt machine I'd probably like single track a bit more...
