    I might consider some 235/85s just cuz you don't need the floatation as much being lighter. They would be easier to turn/spin, less trimming, less weight and more centered over the bearings for less stress. Wouldn't look to goofy if they were pushed out some. Look like single cab pro buggy. lol

    al i know, is i have to trim the fuck out of my front glass, and cut back the fire wall to keep from rubbing. kinda regret it, but the 488's pull teh truck along pretty well. i will be tubing these tires though, they leak like a sive around the beads. also looking for 1 or 2 35/1250/15 bfg baja's. nothing fancy, just for spares.

    Your truck is a different beast than Gabe's. You also plan on a v8 which would just roast those 10.50s you had.

    i miss the skinny tires sometimes lol. truck was so light it floated really well. bigger tires smoothed out the ride a bit. i stay on top of the ruts a little better, but its just more work to keep it all squared away.

    going from a 33x10.50 to 35x12.50 is huge. way more rubber, i bet it does ride nice.

    it does, but you aint lyin. that step up was fucking nuts. possibly new rear end, bigger motor, new front end, 37's in a year or 2 maybe??.... who knows. wouldnt mind having a monster mouse.

    too narrow, and 31 spline (currie chrome moly even) wont cut the bigger stuff with more power. going to 35 or 40 spline if i find a smoking deal. i can ge by now on 31 spline, going to be pushing it with the v8, and even more so if i go up a tire size. we shall see.

    How much HP are you going to run? I would think the axles would hold alot with an upgraded center section since you have a truggy without low range.

    big tires = big rotating mass, couple that with a few hundred hp, wont take a ton of force to twist an axle shaft. just going to do a simple 5.3 with a tune, maybe a cam, and some boltons. (intake, headers, injectors ect. hoping for 320ish to the ground.

    If you get 320 hp (400ish torque) to the ground thru 35's, that will be fun. 31 spline axles are tough, but if your going wider anyways.

    fuck yeah it'll be fun lol. ill have to pick jason's brain when it comes time for swap, i want to keep ac, and possibly heat if i can. if not, heated seats it is lol.

    Heat is the easy part, even if you just run a valve on a hose and just go to the heater core in the cab. i will heat that lil truck up.

    notching for the tires might interfere with the heater core. we shall see when i start tearing it to pieces. next summer.
