    Hey,

My buddy custom made a bumper for the Taco, looks damn sweet.

It has a winch plate (1/4 Inch Steel) with the fair lead sitting just below a hole to fit a 30 inch light bar(Mounts inside with just the lens showing). The rest of the bumper is made of 3/16 steel and hugs the truck very nicely.

Seems to take up less space than the OEM bumper, or very close to the same.

If you want extra holes for some other lights, they can be made as the bumper is still unpainted/protected.

Asking 1100$ or 1300$ with sandblasting and bed lining.

Let me know if interested, Located in Calgary

Just giving you crap, looks good other than you can't swap from free spool to winch in. Would look better painted.

Well noted, there ware ways around that. Some can spool out pretty damn quick these days. So it depends on the winch you have. Should someone want a spare hole somewhere it can be done but quite tight with the light bar on top. You could even mount the lightbar elsewhere and leave the slit for air circulation if you wanted.

It definitely would look better painted, but just in case some extra holes/mods are needed there is no need for a repaint. Also if someone wants to save money and can do it for cheaper than the 200$ difference. All the power to them.

I don't think this will fit a 2013, or anything with the newer grill style, since the lines are slightly different and that bumper seems to hug the 05 lines pretty tight.

Easy enough to grind a bit if needed, the joys of not having it painted/coated yet.

Looks like it fits a little too tight... At least if you're planning to actually use it off road. Most plate bumpers leave about 1/4-1/2 inch of clearance between any body panel to account for flex. And anyone who's slammed a bumper good will agree you NEED that, otherwise you're gonna end up with crushed panels or lights.

Other than that though, like the design and it looks stout!

Agreed, I'd take this but by the time I got it too work well for my 2013 it'll be half destroyed and not what I'm looking for. GLHF, I hope you find someone for it quick.

If you are serious, I can swing by my buddies and he can mock up a little closer with my 13'.

Depend show much altering it would need, minor shouldnt ruin it. If you need more that that, maybe a different bumper is in your future.

I want to check out a few bumpers I was looking at online, no offense, I think I can get something that fits better that way. I was mainly commenting that I don't think this will fit as well on a +2012 though I bet with cutting it would... but then why not build or buy one that was meant to fit for that much? Good luck, I could be wrong, maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to measure it compared to your truck next time your there.

    Depends how they drive it.

Basic off roading with a daily driver this is fine.

Hardcore smackin it on rocks, you're right.

Even basic off roaring will flex the frame enough when it's that tight to push on the fenders and light and potentially crack em. Like I said, I like the design, just trim it down 3/8 an inch off the top. I've started building my own bumpers so I know this isn't "easy" but you'll wish you'd done it if you wheel it at all.
