Maybe, I had somewhat of a misfortune over the weekend doing major DIY stuff and decided I had better get some new tools before I tackle anything new. IT was pretty embarrassing. I have heard great stuff about ECGS though. Their bushing has done numbers for me.

    Check the build thread.
I have heard amazing things about Moab Outfitters in Lindon and they have helped me out on a few other random projects. They will be the ones to do the install for me.

Looks outstanding! Sean, is the light bar on the front of your roof rack mounted on the rack itself? Or standalone?

I have a Thule rack for my surfboard, but it has no cargo capactiy which sucks. Would prefer to have a cargo option and the ability to still have a pad at the front and rear end to lay a board on there. Also to be able to mount a light bar would be nice instead of having a separate mount. Is there a padding option for your rack? Or I could just improvise if not I guess..:)

The crossbars on my roof rack are similar enough in size to the thule and yakima bars that you can use their pads. I almost got some for a kayak until we sold ours.

My own brand haha. That was my attempt at a sales pitch. There is a link In my sig. I would think the the frontrunner rack like Defcon is running could accomodate some type of pads too. With the newer aero type bars that thule and yakima are using it seems that most of their attachments are pretty universal for different bar types.

What, really?!?! Awesome thanks for the love!

My 40" Rigid SR light bar is mounted directly to the underside of the FrontRunner rack.

I had a local company do the vinyl for me, AlphaGraphics, they did however mess up the color so I will be having them reprint them soon to more of a flat olive drab green.

I believe FrontRunner does make a surfboard option for these racks.

lol hey get business where you can :D

Was alpha graphics pretty reasonable on price? i have used them to print plans and such for work but didn't know they did vinyl.

    after so many requests... ;)
I finally decided to get the location of my Rigid Industries Rock Lights up.
I used the angled pads provided in each location.

    Front drivers side mounting:

    Center mounting:

    Rear drivers side mounting:

and again, this is the spread I get with it. It does help that my fenders are trimmed allowing more light to escape and getting a farther spread.

Some of them don't. I went to one in Draper I think and they are really good. Some others are hole in the walls and I wouldn't give them my money. Independently owned so do your homework I would say. I think I paid a somewhere around a couple hundred for both sides.

LCA's are already armor. IMO all the lca's skids that are offered are just extra weight and something else for a rock to catch on to and hold you up.
