My next door neighbor works there. He is always asking me to come by and hang out. I can talk to him and I'm sure he could set it up anytime.

Next time I see him I'll ask and see what works for them. Anyone have a guess on how many trucks we had last time so I can give him a rough estimate?

It's tough trying to match price on the 5100's with online stores that have no overhead and do not do installs. Selling all 4 shocks at $376.11 (price with TW discount).

What we do offer is the knowledge of the product, installing the shocks, and coming back to us with questions or worst case an issue. The labor of $370 is a good 3 hours to remove all 4 shocks, remove the coil from the stock shocks, install the coil on the 5100's, then re-install the shocks, do a final torque. Do an Alignment, and again, another test drive and check over before it goes home. Then it also includes a re-torque on all of it after 500 miles to make sure it's settling as it should and nice and tight.

We also quote on the high side. If it takes less than the 3 hours, then we will bill less. Some trucks put up a fight, some don't. We would rather shoot you high and come in low rather than low and surprise you with more cost.

We are all for helping the DIY guys as well. On the 5100's it's a bit tougher though cause of the need of a spring compressor that can sometimes be sketchy if you rent one from the auto parts store.

Yes I am sure there are other shops out there that charge less, But Why are the charging less? Are they not taking the time needed to make sure it's perfect before it leaves?

$370 for an install is cheap, especially with all the things included in your price (alignment, retorque, warranty)

Around here you're looking at close to $600+ at a cheap shop!!

Are you sure its not a loose cab/bed mount? Can sound a lot like a popping. Easily checked with a t56 star, breaker bar and some elbow grease.

I dont think it is. When I jump up and down in my bed, it pops when the shock compresses.
