    Sooo.... who loves to backpack, has all of their own gear, and has the last week of July off? 40 miler in Colorado along the Continental Divide trail planned for 2 months, and my partner just bailed. I'm fucking devastated. I'd do this trip alone for some good soul searching, but my wife would freak out. 6 day trip, 2 days driving, 4 days backpacking/camping off-grid. It's going to be mega epic.

    It's the part that connects at Wolf Creek Pass and goes in 20 miles to Goose Lake. I'm camping at Archuleta lake on day 1, Goose on day 2, back to Archuleta on day 3, and out on day 4. I wanted to camp near water so I can filter, and also bust out the portable trout rod and throw some flies and spinners.

    On the map it shows a different camp spot for day 2, but I'm dropping south down into Goose Lake. The rest of the trail is accurate.
