    EDIT: I also think it's funny that you think I might not know that. I have $6k worth of MTBs sitting in my garage right now. And that's just my two nice ones. I ride a few miles almost every day and hit the dirt jump occasionally too.

    The bike was a fixed gear aluminum Leader with Leader carbon forks. I was hauling ass and couldn't hop a pot hole in time and dynamited the forks.

    CF is actually very strong. I expect my TT to bust before the fork does. A CF bike will probably survive a crash better than my alloy frame cause the tubes a stupid thin in places :p
