    They are 650 lb Eibachs. Have not noticed any loss of dampening. I did have to add a little pre-load tho.

    If you intend to have a heavy plate bumper like the Elite and a winch in it and heavy aftermarket skids like budbuilts, they you have expect that extra weight to have an impact long term.

    As I said, these SAWs have held pretty good with all thats been thrown at them.

    Looks good.

    As to SAWs, I've got a set of 2.0s I've had on for a few years, ride great, though I can't compare them to anything else other then stock. barely drooped even with bumper and winch.

    Awesome, thanks for the info.

    Eventually I'll have a bumper and winch with synthetic line, but I't'll be 2-3 years down the road.

    I gotta do something about my front suspension soon, one of my front 5100's is blown, and I have ~2.5'' of rake from rebuilding the rear springs to tall.

    If you're looking to save some $ and not in a rush, do what I did, find a decent used set of coilovers and rebuild them. All in all I got my saws for around $500.

    Did you rebuild them yourself or did you have someone like DSM do it for you?

    How hard was it?
    Since we moved I haven't had access to a shop or garage, but I'm sure I know a guy who has a shop i can use.

    maybe consider something like this:
    I added diamond plate to my sliders mostly to keep the sides of my truck clean since we live on a gravel road. I think it would also keep out sticks too!

    Eh, see my Build Thread sig link. Too many mods to list.
    Look at the Firestone $170 Lifetime Alignment. 2 regular alignments almost pay for it. Get your oil changed there too and have them check the alignment for free every time.

    Spare tire question guys....

    So I am running 33x12.5x15. Last night at the gym, my buddy and I got to talking about spares. I still have my stocker under the truck (245/70/16) He tells me I might as well leave that at home since it it obviously alot smaller and I could shred my gears if I ever used it. Now if I had to use it it would be to at least get me home.

    Should I be getting a full size this weekend?? Or am I ok with this for a quick fix?

    I was thinking for a spare I could get a 33x10.5

    With speed and long distance you could damage your gears, and if you had a limited slip you would destroy the clutch packs.

    as long as the O.D. is close or the same you'll be fine with just about anything as a spare.
