Not too keen on the 18's tbh. I know they are leaning more towards making a spectacle of the racing now, but just keep some stuff as is.

I am by no means as up to par with you guys on this, but a bigger rim would equate a smaller tire correct? the mass of the wheel would essentially stay the same? In smaller i mean a lower profile.

Would this lead to quicker tire degregation and more pit stops?

 

Tire deg only represents the very outer surface of the tire ( 1/4" ) , it shouldn't be any different

 

So Maldando wouldnt have to worry about it then, since i cant recall when he finished a race?

Yep I know they do. I always liked that F1 had a different look. And I pretty much despise the "all-wheel, no tire" street look. No, I totally despise it. Cars should have tires dammit!

The MGU-H will act as a generator and recover energy from the heat and energy lost in the exhaust and pass to the MGU-K (or the battery in case it needs recharging). The MGU-K, which is connected to the crankshaft of the ICE, will act as a motor and deliver additional power to pull harder or save fuel, should the control electronics be so configured.

At the end of the straight, the driver lifts off for braking for a corner. At this point the MGU-K converts to a generator and recovers energy dissipated in the braking event, which will be stored in the battery.
