    Head unit. That's it.

Quite frankly, Johnny Manziel worked MIRACLES. He had mediocre talent to work with, and ZERO following his first year on the field. If he would have been in Oregon, you'd be flaunting a crystal ball up that way.

He had some great receivers and a fantastic o-line both years.

He hucked that ball on a prayer alot of times and those receivers went and got it. He had help.

Don't get me wrong.....if he woulda shoulda coulda been here it would of been interesting , but IMHO.....he wouldn't of gotten much more done here.

So I'm wondering if when the coaching staff yells at him: "Jesus!" if that's considered taking the Lord's name in vain.....

''He's going to be the easy one because, mentally, he's right," Winston said after the spring game. "He's mature and he wants to be there. But guys like Kermit (Whitfield) and Isaiah (Jones) that are cool and laid back but don't do as much as Bobo, those are the guys that are going to step up and I'm going to have to watch a lot of film with.

He isn't the sole reason that they were a good team, but he sure did make them better.

Also depends on how many more of them get arrested. But I'm not convinced they have enough defense to compensate for losing Manziel and Evans.

Is Kenny Hill good enough to distribute the ball though?

There's alot of mixed reports out of camp. One thing that has been made pretty clear is that if Kenny Hill is the starter it'll only be until Kyle Allen has the offense figured out, which could be a few games or even next season. We all know about Hill's decisions off the field and they're about as good as the ones he makes on the field as well. I personally don't think there will be a be fall off in overall team performance. The offense may not be quite as dynamic, but it will still surprise some folks. The O-line is still one of the best in the country. The running backs group is good. The recievers will be good, especially with Seals-Jones and Speedy Noil making noise. The defense should be improved(it can't get any worse). The young kids have gained some experience and their bodies are growing up. Also added some pretty good recruits, some that will make an immediate difference and some that will help in the future. They did go out and get possibly the best secondary coach in the country, which is a good sign. If the defense improves and the quaterback, whoever it is, doesn't cough up the ball constantly, it's still a top 20 team. Maybe a little higher. Who knows really? Auburn went from worst to first in the SEC last year and nobody saw that. That's why college football is great. Anything can happen.

I disagree. The proof is in the pudding. During his suspensions, the team struggled. JM comes in the game and absolutely lights it up. The entire team played to another level. That is to say, THOSE players specifically fed off of his abilities and energy. I'm not saying he made those players better, I'm saying they seemed to play to a higher level when he was in the game. This team they have now, with different players....is a different story.
