Replacing damaged 7pin trailer harness

    OK.. so if you are a dumb ass like me and took out your 7 Pin by backing into your trailer or something else and want to replace it with the same harness don't go to Toyota for the parts. Go to Honda!! Toyota will charge you somewhere in the neighborhood of $185 for a replacement. That because they will only sell the entire kit. If you go to Honda and look under the Ridgeline parts, there is a 7 pin harness that is exactly the same as the Tacoma's. for $85!!!. Now here is the kicker, it comes with a 4 pin also. you just need to do a little wiring mod for it.

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    never speak of adding a ridgeline part to a taco....EVER again!!!! haha
