Seems like its almost always from that far left lane too.

Dang, I'm in the wrong business. I need to be selling crosswalk signals to the city. That's the third time (at least) I've seen it taken out.

I guess it's better to see cars get smashed up instead of people. Can you imagine what would happen to someone crossing the street when these idiots cause these crashes?

One of these days it's going to be a person crossing a walkway that's hit and it's not going to be pretty. I can't believe how many people do not paying attention at this intersection. If it were me, knowing how many accidents have happened there, I would avoid it at all costs.

 

The dude in the black car had some good reaction times there to slam on the brakes or else it wouldve been him smacking the little car.

 

Not just a "sign"... that pole is 7 or 10ft tall and has two full pedestrian indication heads on it along with the framework.
The heads alone are 10 pounds without electronics.
That's a good 50 pounds of aluminum and steel pipe.
