    I've had this on 2 cars. I get an alignment with every oil change. Some times more often.

    I never do cross rotations. I am not comfortable with changing the rolling direction of a tire. Always front to back for me. And I always use a used tire of similar size as a spare but never rotate it in.

    :confused:

    Can you clarify? I read it as KM2s are not radials which I know to be not true. :eek:

    I change my tires enough, I never remember where they went. so they come off and go back on kinda where ever haha. forced tire rotation

    With my lift I did a CB drop, still have very noticable pulsating vibes at 30-35. I am worried about the pinion seal with this angle. Also when I am coming to a stop or letting off the brakes, a lot of times some there is a very noticeable jolt that feels like someone rear ended me.

    I need axle shims, the question is what degree and where to buy them from.

    I have 4-4.5" of rear lift and no CB drop and my angle is worse than that and i only get vibes from 75mph. How is yours so bad

    Not cross rotating is a little "old school" and came about after early design radial tires developed problems with inner carcass steel belts shifting and ruining the tire when the rolling direction was changed.

    Today's radials are better designed and probably less vulnerable to this problem but I still choose not to do it.

    I was taught many moons ago to cross in the rotation. The reasoning being to get that change in rolling direction to balance out any wear asymmetry. Kind of interesting seeing Toyota not crossing and reading your explanation. Makes me put MTRs and other directional treads back on the shopping list.

    With modern, smaller, car tires, cross rotating is probably OK but for our larger, heavier tires, its hard to recommend.

    IMO, if you keep you vehicle aligned and run correct air pressure on the pavement, you will get full mileage out of a set of MTs or ATs without crossing them.
