Check the relay in the fuse box under the dash. There should be another one you can swap it with to verify that the relay is weak.

Thinking it was water is a very common misconception. Blinker fluid is water soluble and has the look of water. The fluid must have leaked out into the headlight assembly causing it to flood until the engine compartment gets warm enough, the radiant heat will cause the viscosity of the oil to get thinner, allowing it do drain back into its proper reservoir assembly.

This is a common problem with the 95-04 Taco's due to archaic design. I'm glad you found the issue OP! Keep an eye on that reservoir though.

Clearly the most logical answer. . .

Internal or External? Could be condensation or a short in your wiring, but you would probably be blowing fuses with a short.

Man you dudes are horrible lol blinker fluid lolz xD, i would check all your connections to your fuse boxes, make sure everything's nice and tight and grounded. I'm having the same problems here with my Rolla gts that's how I stumbled upon this forum, seeing them blinker fluid posts made me realize that maybe I ain't that dumb and i probably already know how to fix it, it has to do with condensation I'm more than sure bro you just have to check everything electronically related.try this... If i take off at 6:15 in the morning and take a little 5 min cruise by the time 7:30 comes around to take off to work my blinkers work fine ive tried this 3 times same end results pretty weird right?
