Lol the grill wasn't that bad, I decided not to color match it though, went with black for now instead of the chrome, and now just waiting on my letters from BAMF to get here and will add those

 

We make roofing shingles. The plant I run produces the fiberglass sheet that goes in the middle of shingles. It holds the asphalt together.

Very well now that I'm back on nights....no managers to deal with. Plus our plant is shut down this weekend so I only have 1 guy to watch.

I spent the better half of today being the copilot for my 16 year old son. He has a beginners permit & is trying to get familar with drivng my Tacoma. He's taking the driving test on Monday. God help us all if he passes.

Lol I took my nephew last month to try for his and I was a total wreck, I think I was more nervous than he was, he got them and now that's all he wants to do is drive my truck when he visits. His words " girls dig trucks so I wanna be seen driving a cool one "

 

My son doesn't really like the truck. He complains that it's so high he can't see the curbs. He failed the drivers test on the first try. Ran over the curb while parallel parking. I failed my 1st test also....hit the barrier while pulling out (in a huge Lincoln no less).

 

I remember failing mine too the first time, I was like 2 ft from the curb when I tried to parallel park, I was in a 1992 honda, the lady was like ummm you are a little too far from the curb lol I was like really? Looks good to me lol

 

I am not looking forward to those days. I got 2 more years. I have been working with him some on the farm in VA when we go so maybe it won't be too bad.

 

It's really crazy....parallel parking is a thing of the past. The only places I know of that have these spaces are downtown Columbia. Us country people never do it.

Why you up so late on your day off?

 

LOL! My oldest is in college....she took to driving way better than my son has. She never mastered a stick shift though.

 

Hopefully I'm done for a few years, I don't have kids of my own but I do have nieces and nephews that seem to always hit me up to do things with them.

 

Well you know they say girls are better drivers lol

 

I don't know.....my wife can really scare the bejeezus out of me.

I don't ride with mine unless I am drunk then I guess it doesn't really matter. I typically drive.
