Oh yikes..that sux. I've poked around here and there looking for one but they go about a grand or more easily..and close to that just for frame-fork. Woody Itson, their big rider back then, was my idol..got to meet him once at a show they did.

What kind of Haro? That's another one on my wish list.

 

1997 Haro Shredder Super Delux.

All original except the seat which was replaced with a padded Haro unit. I bent the front Araya Super 7x so I dropped it off at B&B in Bridgewater and he hammered it back into relative shape. Everything else is original and basically untouched. Still got the factory AD990 / DiaComp Bulldog brake pads!

My Dyno's a little rougher but it's pretty original too, different seat post and wheels/tires.

 

That is why my dyno air is staying in my parents shed in Quincy. That is an awesome bike just to look at. Chrome fork, handlebars, and seat post with red machined frame and black mags.

 

Far as I can tell, the new one is original except chain and wheels. I'm planning some upgrades but will save the stock parts. The brakes suck, not sure if just new cables or more.

Loved the Dia-Compe brakes, would never use anything else.

 

I had a dyno compe with the "green splash" paint back in the day. Looked just like this one then someone stole it....

 

Ya ya ya. When i was a kid The Penny-Farthing was THE bike to have. All the cool kids would meetup and do tricks and talk shit.

 

So why'd you switch to the Yak?

Goes to the trouble to custom paint halo headlights

Reinstalls old yellow lenses

 

I'll polish em. No worries!

And painting the shrouds took just a few minutes of taping. No big deal

 

Keep it simple. Sick of paying to register. Fuck the taxman

Fuck em. My boat may or may not have been registered since I've moved to MA....

 

Hopefully you cleaned the inside of the lenses . Cuz in 2 months they will look like shit and you will be redoing them .

Maybe it's the shadows, but the bumper doesn't look to be sitting right.
