JeepAndrew's AZ Trail Runs/Campouts

After the fiasco at Big Nose Kate's last year (horrible service, and a forced gratuity) I figured we could head down to Bisbee and sample the foods down there. It's only 23 miles from Tombstone

There are two other restaurants in Tombstone, The Crystal Palace Saloon on Main St and Ranch 22. So, we could always hit one of those if the group doesn't want to drive to Bisbee.

Fuck forced gratuities

 

Yeah it was a load of crap. Granted, we had a huge group, but it shouldn't take two hours to get food out. And the server was rude as fuck.

The only good part was two other patrons (obviously from out of state) complaining to staff about some of our group that was open carrying, only to be told they were SOL because AZ open carry laws. It was very entertaining.

 

You know what, they did that to about 12 of us... AT A DINER, in buttfuck PA.

We all rolled in around 11:30 at night after a longgggg 7 hour drive, and I wanted some damn eggs, bacon, and home fries. It took 35 to 45 minutes for me to get my soda... Then about 45 minutes after that the salads came out for other people. No silverware or napkins. Then finally the food came out about 5 minutes per trip... So it took 30 minutes more for EVERYONE to get their food.

And some of these poor people had young kids they had to keep occupied while we talked truck stuff. Some people drove all the way down from New Brunswick, Canada THAT DAY!

And they had the fucking balls to charge a TWENTY PERCENT group gratuity....

No comment on whether or not I paid for that meal. I was about 5 minutes from breaking EVERYTHING in that Diner in a fit of starving fatboy rage.

That's about the time I'd start stabbing motherfuckers and burn that place to the ground.

 

I didn't dash. I made it very fucking clear that they lost my business, especially when the diner was practically empty. And it's not like we ordered complicated meals. Just some late night munch food and breakfast

 

I forgot that stuff in tombstone. I had never been to tombstone before. Was really bummed we couldn't do the TW O.K. Corral shoot out with cap guns.

 

My favorite place in Tombstone was the Longhorn. Haven't been TO Bisbee, just through it, so I'm up for either or if I'm able to make it.

 

I remember that shit. I was sick from dehydration and they still couldn't hurry the fuck up with my drink. I ended up drinking from the sink in the bathroom a couple times just to get water. And the forced gratuity on top of that pissed me off. Worst food experience ever!

 

that's where Andrew and I ate after we spent the day looking for mines.
Good food.
Waitress was a bit hateful.
She must've been in a bad mood.

 

I have 3 more cut, just need to pick out the unused parts of it, its not easy on a decal with letters that small

 

Never been down that way, sounds cool count me in unless it snows up here and I have to plow snow.

On another note, if we are doing lunch in bisbee I'll throw in a suggestion for Santiagos! Bomb ass Mexican food right next to the Copper Queen
