Replaced my entire head unit with a 7 in tablet. Nexus 7. Steering wheel controls work. All 8 buttons, which is better than I had on my old pioneer unit. plays music from a flash drive, auto syncs with my phone to send/ receive texts, uses my phone for internet access, can make/ receive calls but still needs a bluetooth headset/ speaker phone for audio/microphone. FM radio works too. Just have to figure out how to get an external mic for voice control and I will be golden.

    Was kinda complicated...
Joycon steering wheel control adapter connected with a plug n play harness off my old axxess module that went into a usb hub. Audio out of a usb hub connected to an On the Go adapter from the Tablets micro usb port. That had a usb to 3.5 mm adapter plugged into it. From there it was a 3.5 to rca y cable connected to two more y cables to bring the 2 channel audio to the 4 speaker connectors in my old Axxess JBL adapter. Finally found a use for the stock JBL amp/sub. Made the audio connection pretty easy. Then used a dvb-t tuner plugged into the usb hub for FM radio reception. Had to fabricate an adapter to go from the stock radio antenna to the dvb-t. and a flash drive in the last port on the hub for music storage. Plus a lot of tweaking on the tablet side of things to get everything to play nice. Ill try to draw it up cause ^all that^ makes sense to me but it might be confusing to most.

    Basic paint drawing:
