"they'd make damn sure this problem never happened again! " Why would you think that. They didn't learn anything from the first generation shite frames did they ?

Given the shear number of affected years, this second screw up would cost them significantly more than the 1 gen, would it not? Perhaps someone's head would finally roll over this. Someone there keeps making the decision to cheap out on non-critical components, like the frame

I took my truck in for service today and as expected my frame got a clean bill of health, including the engine mount locations. Again, I'm in the South. I'm really on the fence about keeping this truck. My rational side is saying "Its made it a decade so far. Why worry now?" and then there is the O.C.D, ever-worrying, crazy bastard side if me that's yelling "Unload this sum bitch ASAP or a shitstorm of pain is waiting just down the road!". Currently, I'm still leaning toward getting rid of it after a year.

I have the same thing by my muffler, don't know what will qualify for replacement.

Yes I'm in NJ. Yours looks to still have a decent paint job on it, much of mine was gone before the dealer coated it with the black slop. Try what I did up front just be hind the front wheels, there are 2 holes, mine is completely gone there as the video shows.

They want it to fail, they want you to upgrade to a new truck so their business keeps going....that is the way of capitalism :|

You guys would be pissed to see how clean my frame is. Its cleaner than a few 2010s i've seen.
I think this past winter was the first year for mine out in the snow. I swear the previous owner must've never taken it out. It didn't start rusting until i got it. Now i want to rustoleum the hell out of everything before they decide they want to slap that goup all over it. Yuck

If your frame is bad enough everyone should be ok with Toyota...

Hmmm....just checked my account, nothing listed. Perhaps their systems haven't been updated to include the 07's yet? I'm definitely included.....

PA is not approved yet. That is coming later when your government approves Toyota's solution. Be patient.

You can go to the dealership and confirm that your truck is on the list. Then it's a waiting game. Personally, they can take their time. If anybody is worried, crawl under and take a look. I suspect a frame has to have significant corrosion to actually be dangerous.
Does anybody know what is replaced with the frame? Is it determined on a case by case basis?
