    pretty sure it is still the stock rear axle too. Perfect street queen but don't try to wheel it to hard.

    Honestly looks like a Hawaii truck with those boggers on it and sitting up so high in the air like that

    1997 t4r has super duty axles, 5.13s locked front and rear. 3 link front with 14" kings. Rear 63s.

    I ran my shackle angel back like that with 3" lift springs on my s10 and I had the spring flop back against the frame when I had a emergency stop. Had to drive to the nearest hardware store to buy a prybar

    3" Toytec spacers, Bilstein 5100s in the back with add a leaf and overloads removed.
    I like that truck honestly. Could use bigger tires for sure. And you guys would be surprised at what some people run on D44s round here. Seems it's a travesty to run anything over a 37 on D44 on TW

    i have a buddy with a built jeep on d44s and 40s and he beats the shit out of it no problem. But its a mudder. Big difference when just free spinning the tires catching rock

    There's a crawler here who rocks 40's on Toyota 8's. But that thing has no body and is just a plain cage with a dual tcased 22RE that runs on propanen (so he's pretty light weight compared to a Tacoma). Once he got some stronger axles in there (chromolly I think) he quit breaking shit. He's only locked in the rear though. He does beat the living hell out of his rig though. I've yet to see anybody wheel as hard as he does, but he's also the only bodyless rig I wheel with. haha
