I just want to be sure this will work in my truck. I have a 2012 TRD Sport with a non-jbl unit. It's the one that has bluetooth, hands free, USB-AUX compatible, and shows the song/artist info on the screen but it is NOT a touch screen. Will entune work with my vehicle and can I use my VIN or will I have to use another one? Will my steering controls work and is this just a plug and play? Thanks guys, I have read through this thread but want to be sure before I try to purchase.

I want the nav unit, and am wondering if the shark fin antenna I have is all I need for that to work.

I would suspect almost anyone who buys one of the NAV units would have a non-nav for sale...

Got mine back in April. Smooth install and solid operation, just as advertised.

    Do it.

Aloha, I'm looking to switch out my en tune audio plus for one with navigation because I am going to be moving to the mainland in the next year or so. I do realize that the nav will not work in Hawaii but am still willing to make the upgrade. I own a 2014, brand new this week. Any ideas out there?

Have the HU from the OP for a long time. Just to let you know the NAV does work here, Oahu. So does the APPS and all the goodies that come with it. You just have to make sure you get the right VIN number so you can activate Entune.

I'm pretty sure it's plug and play for your 2014.

Okay, right now I have Entune Plus w/satellite & HD radio. 2014 so its a touch screen.

To get nav and make the swap all I need is
    1. Get the new head unit
    2. Swap HU, moving the sat radio antenna from old HU
    3. Find a 2014 VIN that includes NAV to register the Entune apps
Is that right? My understanding is that my VIN won't work since I don't have nav now, even though I do have some Entune functionality. And the price is still $400?

Just hang in there.and let him work things out. I'm sure he will take care of things when he gets ready.

You won't get a response back until he has a radio for you. It was about a month for me earlier this year. Just be patient.

Yep the navigation feature will work with out the new VIN number, just not pandora, bing, etc. super easy swap you don't even need the included antenna from FLtrucks if you have a 2014.

Ah, okay. I doubt I would use any of the apps anyway, so that's probably not a problem.
