Well I am lacking in the welding skills to do that and it would still cost almost as much to fully outfit it.that 1 in pic is closer to 8g's .I definitely would build one if I could

I believe used gear oil is the worst smelling fluid in the vehicle world. At least to me.

For sure, i got the transfer-case done, that oil looked like new for some reason:confused: but my drain pan filled up before i could get to the front...

On another note, i did my plugs as well, and to my surprise i think they are the original plugs it had when it rolled off the lot.... meaning they are 110k old at this point, and i don't have a single code at all

I had my front and rear diffs, t case and transmission all switched to synthetic.

Spark plugs are next for me. I can now run another vehicle for a few days and that will allow me time to do my spark plugs and take my time with it. :)

Also, maryland Basic Rider Motorcycle course seems like its going to be fun tomorrow :D

Those spark plugs look pretty damn good Matt, sadly...mine will not last that long :(
    :burnrubber: :D

Not really, the front and rear passenger side plugs had a light coating of oil, and they are all really dark. However, they do have a ludicrous punt of miles on them and they held up well, all things considered.

I'm used to seeing spark plugs on lawn equipment and old beat up vehicles....the kind of spark plugs that come out covered in black schmut lol.

I have been working all the time and the truck is always hot. Going to have to just get up and do it one morning or drive something else and be able to do it one evening.

If i get a rainy evening this week, i'll probably do it (in the garage of course).

Second gens take 2-4 hours depending on how fast you work, but the drivers side plugs are bitch on the v6
