wish your sil all the best for a full recuperation of his spine, make sure he listens to the doc's to the T- 100% of the time so he heals properly.
been there myself in early may 1974, only thanks to a young crazy driver showing off in a 71 cuda who failed to stop for me. while I was stopped trying to make a left turn into the dealership parking lot, after road testing a vw bug, that I just stuck a rebuilt motor into. spent 6 months in a body cast arm pits to hips. 6 months of no showers only sponge baths.

wish I could watch some of those brainless shows my self right not. not very many tv channels in the hospital . basic basic cable.

so yep, i'm still in the sitt hole, they are still running test .they think they need, won't listen to me when I say HAY a-hole! heat/high humidity, heat stroke??? and my c spine issues, how about simply running mri and ct scans and xrays of my neck, bet you find the problem, oh no that's not right your bp is still sky high 168 over 94. hay doc (slant eyed china bit-h )your attitude and this place alone can cause high bp rate , can't sign out or medicare won't pay the bill.

over night observation you read or saw on the tv about is real in every dame hospital, your in a room but not admitted in a real world sense, that way they can run more tests and run up the bill to medicare.
they could have let me go home, i wanted to go home, admitting clerk came to me and said go home now you will have to pay the bill in full your self as you would be going AMA .

I'd rather be busy too ... I always feel more tired after a slow shift than a busy one ... probably has something to do with adrenaline and so forth. :notsure:

wdb, me too on the son-in-law. Really hope they fixed him right and he heals well.

driving me nuts isn't a strong word. freaking no good hospitalists that can barely speak English. one from china the others wear turbans and sure don't understand English. think they know everything, check my med history, it is all in your computers, each time this has happened was summer, hot and humid.

had a good verbal with Ms.china who stated I should commit you to shrink for a eval. try it bit-h meet my lawyer!! let me out of this stink hole so I can go home and relax.

 You gotta find a way to calm down Charlie. Your BP is never gonna come down if you keep letting them get you worked up. Try man ... :notsure: :(

And I'll guess they're gonna try to keep you there as long as that BP is up. Really sorry brother. :frusty:

Reminds me of the joke about the older guy in the hospital...he is in a room with another fella and they need a sperm count done:D...a really good looking blonde, built like a (use your imagination) comes into the room and commences to give the other fella one hellatious BJ. When he is done, she takes his sample and leaves. A bit later this big ugly bruiser of a female nurse comes to him and says drop your pants I'm here to get your sample...the fella says "how come my neighbor there got that good looking blonde and a BJ and I get you?" The nurse answered "he's got Blue cross and you got (wait for it)....................................................................................................>

    Morning all:
 Gotta laugh at that one Ken!

It could be worse Capt., you could be in our local hospital . We do have a pretty good one just south of us though!

Little early, but update on the SIL. Hope all went well with the surgery.

Just watching a story about a lady who drove her Mercedes to pick up food stamps, after being forced into poverty.
Why not; it was the only car they had.
