Sorry bad timing when I asked for the pictures. Sway bar maybe hitting making the clunk noise. It's normal for ride height to be a lot taller before settling. My 884's were over 3" for the first week until they settled. I would set the UCA for 2* caster per the included instructions and then you will only need the 1* from the bottom for 3* caster total.

Ok...that makes me feel better if you got 3" with 884 originallyuploadfromtaptalk1405130811685.jpg. I did put the caster in the neutral position (2*). It was just strange that the I got more height after I drove 40 miles. I added the sway bar relocate, but I might have reversed it. It could go two ways and I didn't know what way to install it. Pic attached.

It moved the sway bar toward the front bumper, so I guess I got that one right. Thanks

For the neutral ( +2* caster ) setting , the SPC logo should face out

That won't fix his extra 1.5" of lift though, will it? Don't see how caster would affect lift that much.

cstallings, have you measured from center hub to fender to see what your measurements are? You say say you got extra lift but I'd be interested to see your numbers, you may be fine. And if you were measuring from the ground, it could be pretty far off.

I measured from the ground...not the center of hub. I don't have the numbers in front of me. I turned the ball joint mount so spc faces the tire and it fixed everything. Now I have about 1.5" between my front 885x and full dakar pack. I jacked my tires up in 40 miles, but that is ok. I'm getting new ones soon.

I hauled some water today, about 1,250 lbs worth, and the Dakar leaf packs that came my OME package worked great. The truck sat about level with that load. Thumbs up to the Dakar leafs.

Looks great man. Did you purchase new ucas? Can't tell from the pic. Also what size tire are you running there. That's the exact look id like to achieve and maintain a decent ride without going up in tire size.
Thanks

5100's front and rear, front 2.5" rear 2" AAL, 18% tint front and rear, color matched grill. SCS wheels 275/70/17 BFG AT KO's. DTRL toggle switch.
I read through a few pages did not see what I was looking for maybe some can help.

I have 5100's at 2.5" love the look hate the ride. I want the same height but a better ride should I do 884's or 885's @ stock 5100 to get the 2.5" I am looking for. I do not plan on putting any bumper or anything at this time. Just looking for an improved ride while keeping the 2.5" of lift. Thanks

884s are 385mm and 885s are 395mm. When I had 884s I was somewhere 1.75-2". Go with 885s if you want 2.5". If you don't get it you can always add a top plate.
