Just depends what ya want. I used a free one from my class 3 dealer after having a lawyer review it and it works just great for what i need. Which is just a trust for myself, dad, and brother for NFA items only is all i needed.

If ya have any NFA questions find a reputable dealer in your area and go talk to them. My dealer answered every single one of my stupid questions and even though he is two and a half hours away he still gets my business!

Yeah, sounded extremely high to me, but on some forums they say 30-500 is normal.

There aren't any class 3 dealers in my area to my knowledge, My lawyer is 4 hours away from me and there's a good dealer close to him.

I have had good luck E-mailing the ATF with my NFA questions.

just got to shoot my XD9 for the first time since I got it today. I was shooting a little low and to the left. Looking around it seems to be a common problem. anyone have some good advice with this?

At what range? Most of the time these issues are more shooter induced than gun.

its called the range. its a local indoor range. I'm guessing it has to do with my grip. This is my first handgun so I'm not used to one yet. I don't want to start bad habits.

Haha don't know why I didn't think that. I think it was about 10-15 yards

Yes I meant distance. Low left is normally indicative of slapping/jerking the trigger for a right handed shooter.

A good way to practice that is to set an empty shell casing on the front sight and smoothly pull the trigger, unloaded of course. If you're doin it right the casing will stay up there.

    Lol on the range...

I do it too, man, especially when I start to get fatigued during a long range session and my form starts to slack. Low/left is really common for right handed shooters. Think about pulling the trigger straight back into the gun when you shoot instead of just curling your trigger finger onto the trigger and pressing. And remember it's a gradual press...press...press until the gun goes off. It should surprise you every time until you get familiar with the trigger. Newbies tend to just mash the trigger in one quick stroke like hitting the enter key.

There is a wheel--I am too lazy to search for right now--that serves as a target and will tell you why you are shooting off of dead center. At first glance I thought it was kinda hokey but it actually helped me. You just print a few of them and use them as targets and where the bullet lands will tell you what you need to do to correct.

Kinda looks like a pie chart

There you go! Someone found it!

In all honesty it was a combination of laziness and me being at work. Didn't really want to google search anything firearms related..
