[IMG] had an exhaust leak. Got lucky passing my smog recently. This is why i decided to just throw on headers. I've been wanting them for a while.

Yeah this garage sale was ridiculous. Tons of quality stuff. There was a stack of large dry bags, enough to probably outfit an entire 2raft expedition. Great for someone camping with no topper. Camp stoves, tools, large compressor, some quality antiques. I had to leave before I bought even more shit.

What can people say about Safelite windshield chip repair in Colorado weather?
I got two chips coming back from Greeley where the highway construction just had three miles of loose gravel on a two lane freeway.

Insurance is having Safelite come and fill the two chips (no charge for me). My concern is that when winter comes and I hit that windshield defrost on a -10 degree morning its just going to crack the whole windshield.
Should I start saving for my deductible to get a new windshield, or is Safelite pretty good?

yeah that was a few weeks ago right? I'm just concerned that in the winter with the cold weather/defroster its going to crack.

It may but likely you'll be fine. Properly fixed chips can last years easily. If it's not going to cost you what's the concern?

BTW, if anyone needs to replace a windshield, Anders is the shizz! Just put a new windscreen in my mom's car and it was $131 total. Yeah, not a typo. $131 total with labor and everything. They charge $99 for the windshield and then installation is $25 if you can leave it with them 24hrs or $50 for 1.5hr turn-around appointment. Safelite quoted us $285. lol

Then insurance should just replace the error again, or a new windshield.

If Jason, "DOT" is still on the board, u can PM him..he deals with insurance for a living

Should be okay. Mine is still the original glass. I've had lots of chips filled and they haven't spread.
