Not sure what you mean. If you buy through me, I can usually give a pretty good discount below the prices on the website. Just PM me and I'll let you know what I can do.

I might develop some schizophrenia with dual accounts, but I'm going to respond as "the company" to this one. This is directly from the website.
It's probably different for everyone and looked at case by case. Your best bet for warranty questions is to call the shop 800-301-9874 and talk to Griffin. He'll be able to answer your questions best and work with whatever you need.

    Do You Provide a Warranty?

We provide a 1-year manufacture’s warranty on all material, craftsmanship, and parts.
We do not provide a warranty if the damage has been caused by improper use, cleaning, or storage.

    Do You Sell Spare Parts?
Yes we sell replacement parts for the ladder, rain fly, changing room, window tension rods and the PVC travel cover. Please check our spare parts page.

Well I could probably go far more into this question than I or anyone else would like to hear so I will hit the main points that are driving me back to the ground.

My main reason is that I now have a dog. As a pup he is easy to get in the tent but the future 90lb version will probably be a bit of a pain for both of us. Yes I could leave him in a kennel or in the truck. He doesn't want to be there and I enjoy a his company as much as he does mine. I have thought of various ways to go about getting him up there and honestly its going to be a good chunk of money no matter which way I go about it.

The next issue isn't much of an issue unless you live in a windy area like wyoming. Being up and off the ground means you are going to be blasted by more wind. Those times you do get stuck camping in an open windy area sucks. This tent is stupid loud and shakes the whole truck so you feel like you are in a boat. I unfortunately frequent windy areas so this sucks.

When the tent is deployed your truck is immobilized. I really didn't think this would bug me as much as it did. I like to set up camp the second I find a sweet spot to reserve it. Problem is that I can't just leave a few boxes and hope that they reserve the spot and people leave them alone. So I have to either set up camp and stop all trail runs in the truck or keep going and hope I can come back to it later. I also like to have camp ready before dark. I hate setting things up at night. I would like to walk/drive/ride into camp and just have to start the fire up. Unless you drop some serious coin on a trailer then you are stuck setting up camp in the dark.

Lastly is size of the RTTs. I didn't think this would bug me since the bed rack keeps the truck bed free. I just find it to be unnecessarily huge and heavy. I don't think the quality is any better than top of the line ground tents. It also takes the same amout of time to deploy an RTT as it does for me to set up a ground tent. I can have my hammock ready to sleep much fast than I could get the RTT up. My current ground tent and hammock both fit in a box a fraction of the size of the RTT.

    Are they nice? Yes.

    Useful? For some lifestyles

Would I buy another? Who knows, maybe I will miss it more than I think. It would be a lot nicer if I was quite a bit older and could sit in one spot for more than an hour.

Teach the dog to climb the ladder. Seriously. You would need to train up and down but it can be done. Most of the rest of your argument, I can understand.

We've been working on that. Gotten her all the way once. I'm going to be moving the tent down from the roof to a bed rack, so that will help.

If the ladders had a bit more of a step to them I would attempt to teach him. I was going to move the tent as low as possible and get a ramp. The tipi will just be a bit nicer for me. It will have a woodstove and room to stand up. I don't have to look for a place to park a truck flat. I just need a flat piece of ground in walking distance of the truck.

My pointer will go up the ladder, she just goes airborne to get out. I'm sure with some practice she could be trained up and down. But most of the time like I posted a few pages ago, I put a large blanket on the hood and she normally will go up that way and in through the window of the tent. But I only have her in the tent with me if I only bring her. If I have my daughter, wife, pointer and lab with me both dogs sleep in my 4runner. You have good reasons to go back to a tent though for sure. The folding up to go mobile can be a pain. My wife and I have it down but having two people makes it fast.

When I get around to buying a truck again.. Most likely a tundra, I'm getting an FWC in the bed.

I'd love a base model FWC to mod out. To much for me but maybe when I am older and not driving a 4banger haha.

Any of you guys put your tent on a pair of Relentless bed bars? I'm thinking of just picking up a pair of those and mounting the tent on them. I feel like they'd be strong enough. Tent+me+GF= about 500 lbs...
