Are you referring to the rubber stuff that covers the fender/wheel well? I ordered some of this, I haven't installed it yet but seems like it will last, plus for the price is worth a try.

    Absolutely awesome.

I'd have to agree! And I might just have to steal the idea.

    Bone stock. For now.
I had a super fun Friday night. Spent it by myself, in my garage, with the radio on, working on my truck. I got my Redline hood struts mounted, and am very happy with the finished product. My truck feels so refined now! Then I started wiring my engine bay LED's, decided I'd finish it in the morning when I could see better (how ironic), and decided to mount my Relentless bed bar/Hi-Lift jack instead.

Here's what I used for the lights: two 8" LED underwater lights (Boatersports brand), some zip ties and wire wrap, and a simple on/off switch.

Switch mount right behind the fuse box in the engine bay:

Finished product (I'll try to get some night pictures tonight):

And here is the Redline hood strut kit all finished up:

And last, but not least, the beautiful Relentless bed bar/Hi_lift mount:

My first post to the site. Heres my project 96 extended cab. 100% stock. Firstly the body was straightened and she got a custom 2 tone bed liner paint job. Just took the seats out today for some rust repair. Im currently looking for a lift kit. Was interested in the toyotec but its gona cost $500 in tax and shipping to newfoundland canada. Anybody able to point me to a canadian dealer?

    Sweet!
I love that rear bumper, cbi you say? I didn't see anything on their website, unless I was on the wrong one. Mind sharing their contact info? A website would be perfect. Thanks.

Thanks to Brett (the old one) and his friend Troy for helping getting the new suspension on... and Brett (the young one) for showing up just in time to eat ribs and drink beer.

Love the stance. Couldn't be happier. Installed the AALs at first then realized it was ridiculous lift/rake. Not "ridiculous, but it will settle" kind of ridiculous. But "ridiculous this will be ridiculous after it settles" ridiculous. So we took them out.

Also left off the diff drop and CB drop kits. But added 4* shims to the leaf packs. CV angles are great, driveline angles are great, no vibes at low or highway speeds.

Now all I have to do is put the refinished flares back on, the new (to me and painted) wheels and new tires. Can't wait. Ol' Red got a serious dose of Viagra and is a young stallion again.

Will post more later but the GF is going to be here in a few minutes.
