Appreciate it. My truck has come a long way and I'm trying to take advantage of every oppertunity to wheel this summer. Head out this way and we'll take you out for some wheeling.

Silly 4Runners and their lack of space to haul away the trash they generate.... :p

What makes you say that? :D

Got me there. But seriously, impressed with you and your truck this weekend, putting Bob and me to shame at the Griz.

Some guy that taught me a shit ton about wheeling always told me: "mind over matter."

But seriously, I appreciate it. You've taught be a ton, and I'm really happy where my truck is and how far I've come as a driver.

Does your skid cover the tcase? Subbing. Love the amount of droop you have.

The allpro skids go back to the transmission crossmember. Although I have been planning on making another crossmember and adding a true mid skid. Haven't gotten around to that project yet. Too busy wheeling :D

And thanks, don't know what to think of my rear leaf setup right now. They're basically flat, and I hit the shackles and leaves more than my bumper, but I do love the droop

That seems like a logical next step

But really, there's not any serious issues with me rear setup right now. It seems to be performing well :notsure:

Finally got a matching wheel thanks to HBtaco02. And did a 5 tire rotation tonight.

Also, a buddy of mine has access to the old Stagecoach ski area. So we went exploring:

    For Madjik and BDN,

Filled up the tank in Steamboat last night. So driving down to Denver, around Denver, to Madjik's place, up to Fort Collins, and around Fort Colling; got 21.92 MPG

That old stagecoach area looks neat. I like finding things that are a little different to go see like that.

It's a neat area, but private land. Just know someone with access.

    Here's some history on it:

Drove up the old Montgomery Pass road in the Colorado State Forest outside of North Park. The road was pretty interesting, nothing too difficult, ended right before tree line and walked up to the top of the pass. Tried my hand at some cell phone HDR photography. Think they turned out OK:

And, CB attempt number, well, I lost track what number I'm at.

Anyways, Cobra 75 WX ST is installed. Put the box in the lower conpartment of the center console becuase I've never used that in 2 years of owning the truck. Also provides nice access to check the SWR. Plug sits right besides the driver seat if I ever want to unplug the radio. Also installed a 4' Wilson flex antenna. After checking out Wishbone's I like these way better than the firestiks.

Best part of this setup is a SWR of 1.1 on both 1 and 40. Hopefully this is the last time I'm screwing around with CBs for a while.

I remember when I was glad to get my CB in working order. Then I was pissed again when it wouldn't play audio through the speaker.....I drafted an email to Uniden and went out to test it to make sure it was still broken and what do you know? It hasn't let me down since!
