    Can't remember if I posted this one. Bristlecone Forest in White Mountains, CA, just outside Bishop. In the background it the Sierra Nevada crest, approximately the Palisades. Altitude ~11,500. Truck is the black dot dead center on the rise.

    Yes. The actual proposal site was about 75 miles NW a couple nights before, just a few hundred yards further on the right, under the aspens next to the creek. No moon that night, and the Milky Way was like, um, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds?

    I love going up above Bishop, nice roads for miles. That one pic is amazing, but I can totally see that pucker factor!
