I finally was able to take my truck in for routine service. I asked them to install my fumoto qwik valve after they change my oil. They installed it just fine at no extra charge. Hopefully I wont have to remove the Pelfrey skids for them when I take it in for service now.
you guys with pelfrey skids and fumoto, is there enough room to open the valve through the hole?
Unfortunately this was my last free service, so it might be time to buy a new truck :D

    Too long to list :D
Got a letter from HPD today guys! They pulled my name from the pool of applicants. Me and miles came to the conclusion that after I go to this orientation, that wi be step 3 of 16 steps completed.. And I walked around all night lastnight with a tie on; I'm getting more comfortable being constantly choked..

Yup.. Gotta buy a new truck now :p

I have the 3 ton craftsman stands, work good for me. Don't know what jack I have but it is cheap and not the best, but it works.. If my 3 ton stands are the same, they he my front tires 2" off the ground at full extension when I place them under the front crossmember. For the rear they are obviously fine if you put them under the axle, but if you put them on the frame I have to put them just behind the middle of the rear doors to get everything high enough. Or jack up the axle, remove the tires, then out the stands on the frame right in front of the leaf hanger. That way I can remove the leafs without my axle sitting on the floor.

    I got thesehttp://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B005JWTMPS?pc_redir=1405067984&robot_redir=1

as far as a jack, check Costco out. They have the Arcan jack that i have, but the the aluminum version. Crap, I would take that jack in a heartbeat (a lot lighter). The top range of my jack is 21 3/8". Just read that the one at costco is a 2.5T but has a max lift of 18.6" (not sure if that will be enough). But then again, the craftsman is just over 19".

I want a creeper so I can just roll under the cars..

    Nice.

In other news, the place that we all hate finally called me that my Dakar AAL came in. I don't even know how many months it has been, supposedly a combo of OME being back ordered and such. Now to figure out if I'm gonna install it, get some new pins (if I do), and go for it.. if anyone wants/needs to watch/learn, I'll let you know when I fig u re out a time to do it.
