    Dang... did you have any warning or did it just let go? I did my lbj about 3k miles ago. Maybe to lime to do some inspection. Been wheeling it hard lately. Don't want a failure like that in bum fuck Egypt.

    just pop. Gone. so..yea..no warning.

    Sorta had one when the bolts gave out cause i noticed the wheel pointing the wrong direction i was steering..haha but 5' later it was gone.

    Ha..yea maybe. Or get a lt kit with uniballs LBJ. But that too much money.

    Funny part is I have new LBJs. Just hadn't swapped them in yet as I'm waiting for other parts.

    There is a huge difference between annually and once every 18 years. I've never heard of anyone replacing LBJ's annually "just in case," even us LT guys.

    35" problems. ;) Just giving you crap. Bummer about the break. but........i gotta think the 35's were a contributor as well as the miles on those components, but I'm sure you know that already.

    I modified my rear all pro bumper to work with my high clearenced bed sides. It won't win any awards for looks but should work. In also extended the rear breather for my rear axle after wheeling 9yrs with the stock one lol. No milkshake diff although It was clogged, I think that's part of the reason why my axle seal blew out.

    Yeah those of us running 35's probably need to be more diligent about maintenance and inspection of components in the front end.

    yea I think LBJ replacements are in my future. I doubt mine have done so its time for some preventative maintenance
