So, we have Brandon Flowers throwing his name out there as the best DB...
    http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/06/30/brandon-flowers-i-am-the-best-corner-in-football/

And of course the usual suspects that were already in the race...
    http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...and-revis-are-two-best-corners-in-the-league/

    http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...andon-carr-im-trying-to-take-over-the-league/

    http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...all-continues-his-assault-on-richard-sherman/

Of course, don't think that just DBs have dibs on the 'going full retard with the press' awards
    http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...s-falcons-have-best-receiver-duo-in-football/

    http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...-marshall-and-i-are-the-nfls-top-2-receivers/

I'm fairly sure this guy said something similar, by the storyline
    http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...n-thinks-hes-capable-of-2000-yards-this-year/
(Please note I cannot vouch for this one, as every interview of CJ0K that I have ever heard has yet to be spoken in comprehensible english outside of the reporter)

    Wait, wait...what's this here?

    wonder-WHY_zps6fedcef4_ded4fa64aa9af00669e89b1bfcd35bb3dba90233.jpg

I guess its no surprise that only one name on that bottom box isn't in that top boxes' position listing. Interesting the OTHER QB with a rep for being dumber than a stump....drafted by....shit, which team again?

We miss you zombie Al! You entertained 31 other teams' fanbases. Then you had to go hire guys that figured out how to get you away from the phone on draft day by hiding your 'special' pudding cups around the facility and fake your extension. Now you went and got a competent coach and a damned fine GM and, even though he LOOKS like dildo, your son knows he'd fuck it up and is letting the football guys do their thing.

Anyhow, back to my point. Is anyone else getting just a TAD bit tired of hearing these fools blather on about who's the 'best at their position'?

Jamarcus Russell got a 24 on the Wonderlic... Marino got a 15. I think you can better assess someone's intelligence through pre draft meetings.

Something in the cobwebby, ossified and dark corners of my remembery is insisting that JaFatass actually got a 6 or 8 or some shit first, and it was 'adjusted up' afterwards

Gonna have to poke around some...

I guess he just tests well. But since the scores aren't supposed to be disclosed who knows.

Haha, good one..reminds me of Shannon Sharpe, my friend always said "he's a WR, he just lines up as a TE"

He was born a WR like his brother, but didn't stop getting bigger and slower soon enough. He's essentially Sterling that cooked too long.

Yes pm me for whatever you need to add me to your league.

Anyone else see the pic of Johnny eightball rolling a dollar bill in a bathroom in Vegas? What a fucking loser - career is over before it even started. I hope he comes back to his locker with a random drug test notice on it for training camp. He and Josh Gordon will be spending their seasons together.

I actually feel bad for Cleveland fans that the team took this shitbag. I'd love to see the Browns become a powerhouse again for a while, just to shut the fucking Ravens and Bungles fans up a bit.

F yes I am.. I'm taking Janikoswski for my first pick too. That or TEBOW!. In all seriousness. I do one with my friends, some Twitter friends from work, and I'll do one with all you Taco people too. Usually do NFL.com and Yahoo's.

I generally do a picks pool if there isn't one wherever I happen to be.

I go with: Pick the winner of each game every week. You get a point for a correct pick. The points are tabulated and added up.

Everyone ponies in X dollars to join. The winner at the end of the season gets 75% of the pot. Second and third get smaller prizes if enough people join, otherwise its winner take all.

No players, no spreads, no points, nada. Just tell me who wins.

My wife knows NOTHING about football and joined our troupe one year. She picked the winner by whose uniform looked nicer, which QB had the nicer ass as he went under center, or which city did or didn't like.

    No, really.

*she came in second, a whopping 8 points behind me, at the end of the year

Maybe I'm just lucky, but the Steeler fans I see 'round these parts are pretty low-key and very much NOT flaming asshats.

Pretty much the opposite of J E S T and Patty fans down here. Even after the Pack beat them in the Super Bowl a couple years back, the ones around here were cool the whole time.

Being in Las Vegas.. We have Steelers fans, raiders fans, and 49er fans everywhere. I see a lot of Packers fans like myself too, but that's what I see the most.

And the Steelers fans can be a bit much round these parts, as can those Bears folks. ;) But they just signed cutler for a long time, so I'm not worried. Bahaha
