    What you saw in my PDF writeup was for the 2.4, but it sounds like it's similar enough to the 2.7 that it's helpful. Good to know, glad you could use it.

    New to Tacoma World Hello Everyone. Changed my plugs for the first time and have 80,000 on an 07 DC 4x4. The plugs on the passenger side weren't too bad ranging from .052-.055, and the driver side ranging from .061-.063. She still ran like a scalded ape, cant wait to see what she will do now. Too late or early depending on you glass and the water level. Did the swap in about 45 minutes. This was a great write up and save me a lot of cash, $120.00 quoted today at the Toyota dealership. $35.22 for the plugs, some sweat since it's still close to 90 degrees at midnight 30, and fed some mosquitoes in the process. Thanks!!!

    To remove the coil on the spark plug near the front of the engine, driver side.

    Got it all done last night! I'm pretty proud of myself. It actually went reasonably smooth considering I only have the use of one hand. Couldn't have done it as comfortably w/o Chris's write-up. Thanks a-million for your write-ups & knowledge Chris!:D
    The only part I screwed up on was checking to see if I removed all my tools from the engine compartment when finished. I shut the hood on a pair of pliers I had sitting up by the windshield.:eek:--No damage though.

    i talked to the part guy and told the plugs they have are Platinum and not copper? true? He told they were like $4.95 a pop... which wasn't bad.

    Relentless Armored! Too many others to list.
    I changed out mine last weekend at about 33k miles. A little late, but the plugs that came out still looked good. Nice color and only minor erosion from the Denso plugs and the NGK's almost looked new still. Took me 55 minutes to do, from popping the hood to closing it again. :D Soooo glad I had a CAI and only had to remove one of the fasteners to get all the passenger side plugs. And the drivers side wasnt too bad, though it did probably consume 2/3 of my time.
