Little this. Little that 4x4 Swap’d PreRunner
Left my truck at a friends apartment and came back this morning to find it all torn apart and my stereo, iphone, and buncha other stuff gone.
why are there dicks in this world?

not very observant becuase luckily they missed my alpine amp under my seat. just got away with my pioneer head unit. looks like they tried to rip paneling off to get to speakers but gave up.

    damn..

This happens everywhere, especially right now with this economy. I never leave anything valuable in my truck. I always remove my deck faceplate and ipod where ever I am at.

Yeah, don't leave anything you wouldn't want stolen in the truck. Common sense should dictate that if thieves want something bad enough... they're going to take it.

I just wish law enforcement would get back to the old practice of getting fingerprints and tracking these bastards down, since we know 80% of these breakins are done by a small cadre of the same people...over and over and over again. What a shame, sorry for your loss.

The problem is how often these type of crimes happen. The cops could reaserch it but would be bogged down for years just for the auto vandalizm. Im a big fan of just electrofying our truck with 110v and say 900 amps.:D

Yeah, I hear you......but if the cops don't try these investigative techniques, it just gets worse. These people can be caught if the cops tried hard.....they just don't. I was robbed at knifepoint in Houston years ago and the cop tried to talk me out of even filing anything because they wouldn't research it and they would never catch them. Even though I gave him the guys license number!! He said....a direct quote...."Son, do you know how often this happens in Houston every Friday night?" To which I replied, " then why are you here?"

That didn't win me any awards with him, but tough shit.

Hey, if they can farm traffic fines and taxes out to video companies like Red Flex, why can't they farm out the REAL investigation and research to track these perps down?

I have gotten broken into so many times that I just lowered my deductible down to $150 and got a concealed weapons permit. I figured if they want something then they can have it, that is why I have an awesome insurance company. If they want to assault me they are going to have a 45 calibur bullet in them. If I don't have a concealed weapons permit for the state that I am in, which isn't many, then I just open carry. It works well and I sleep great at night.
