Metal in the eye is no fun at all. it's happend so many times i bought a rare earth magnet to remove the sit myself.

    I fabricated shower doors for a few years and would constantly get hot aluminum shot into my face/eyes. Now I sit behind a desk while the guys in our plant kill themselves. Imagine wearing: a hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, Kevlar 1/2 sleeves, rubber coated Kevlar gloves, steel toes w/metatarsal guards, leather apron, and shoulder/arm guards made of Kevlar w/aluminum rivets all while working in a warehouse with two glass tempering furnaces that heat the warehouse up to 130* +.

    Guy sliced an artery here a few months ago...what a mess. He pumped blood out everywhere.
