I have searched and read about the spacer lift for a while now and i have not found a legit reason why everyone rather get adjustable 5100's all around.. they all say "dont get them, you'll regret it"... could someone please let me know why its so bad? does it mess up parts in the long run, massive tire wear...? i dont mind spending the money to get the adjustable 5100's but if i dont have to, why spend the cash:rolleyes:

Spacer lift, bumper stickers, ejector seat, etc.
It gives the truck a VERY harsh ride, and almost every person I've talked to say they hate the ride of a spacer lift, and wish they would have gone with something different. ;)

Think of riding in a golf cart, that's how it felt when I rode in one.

15% tint over factory all around, U-Haul hitch, Hopkins wiring harness, 2.25" ReadyLift spacer/ AAL kit, 265/70/17's on Gunmetal/Machined Enkeis, JVC head unit w/ Ipod interface, WalMart seat covers, hoseclamp mod, seatbelt beep mod, bedrail bike mounts, 6 D-rings in bed, Pop N Lock
I have a Readylift spacer lift w/ AAL in the rear, and it is an awesome ride...I drive 30 miles hwy each way everyday to work at 70-75 mph...and on the weekends do stop-n-go... I would have gone with something different, but that's all that exists for my truck save for a full blwn long-travel kit (5-lug).

i have a spacer lift. it rides pretty rough. cost me $250. a set of four bilsteins costs around $280 something with your discount. aal about $77 from wheeler's. bilsteins are adjustable, ride better, and last longer. spacer lifts just suck

Their prices are already cheap. Even with the discount, I can't see them being more expensive than what they charge up here.

Full front and back Billies with shipping is $419 CAD.

Even if he charged $60 shipping to Canada, with the exchange rate it still works out to $374.35.

Sonny sent me a quote of $282.99 for all four 5100's and $55 to ship it to canada via USPC ??(i think that like canada post I guess?? so $283 + 55 = $328 US bucks = $367 loonies seems like a good deal, any canadian members know what the 5100's go for up here ??
