It's just the college town right next to the campus. It's basically a small town comprised of almost all college students. I saw quite a few kids get lost in the party scene and screw up their college life. It's right on the beach tho! :)

Oh okay, ill have to watch myself haha. People have told me im 19 going on 30, so im really mature for my age.
Is there much crime in the town? Ive talked to a few people, some say a little and some say none at all. Im just worried that someone might try and steal my lights on the front of my truck, and my windshield light bar.

also if you have out of state plates, they will most likely not bother you.

Which of the other colors did you replace these with? Or are you up on stands for the time being?

Pretty sure you have to change both if you live california for over a year. or something like that? Keep your permanent address, or at least the address the DMV has at your house now and you should be fine.

Thanks everyone for the welcome! Ive been thinking non stop about how awesome it is compared to seattle. Finally ready to go beach wheeling (if thats what its called) and hit up some desert trails!

I do need to lift my back end up again after putting the camper shell on.. I asked before in the Northwest thread but didn't get a solid answer. I do not have the TSB done, so should I go AAL or a block? I was thinking AAL so it will allow me to carry more weight. Also thought about changing out the whole spring pack but haven't found any within a reasonable price. Any suggestions?

Well, look for my blue Tacoma and the puppy Ford F-150 again. We'll also be with a big Jeep group and some large toyhaulers - gonna get rowdy. Looking forward to testing all my new LED lighting!

WheelersOffroad 3 Leaf Progressive AAL or Icon 3 Leaf Progressive AAL

I've heard good things about both. I believe they will provide proximately 1.5" of lift over stock height.

I'd stay away from the Blocks.

Thanks Ill look into it! Im not sure I want much lift. Right now with the camper shell it sits level with nothing in the bed.. Id assume then that would probably give me about an inch above stock height which is fine because I want to get 5100's set at .85 in the front sometime soon.

Am I correct in that for a small front lift up front, all I need is bilstein 5100's? No spacer, UCA's, or anything else?

Yes, that's correct. If you plan to only lift the front up to level/counter the rake, you will only need the Adjustable 5100's. They are designed to be used with your stock springs.

As far as the AAL's go.... I would suggest calling up WheelersOffroad(Dan & Johnny are Super helpful) or Calling Icon and speaking to either Brad or Todd.
